Description

The dataset represents the air quality monitoring network in Bahia, operated by CETREL S.A. from 2011 to 2016. It encompasses eight stations located within the city of Salvador: Av. ACM-Detran (ACM), Av. Barros Reis (BR), Paralela-CAB (CAB), Campo Grande (CG), Dique do Tororó (DT), Itaigara (IT), Pirajá (PI), and Rio Vermelho (RV). In total, there are 1,526 samples (rows) available for each station, resulting in a dataset containing 12,208 rows. Each row comprises meteorological parameters and pollutant concentrations. The meteorological parameters encompass wind speed (VV), ambient temperature (TEMP), relative humidity (RH), and the standard deviation of wind direction (STWD). The pollutant concentrations include SO2, CO, O3, particulate matter with an aerodynamic diameter less than 10 micrometers (PM10), and nitrogen oxides in the form of carbon dioxide (NO2) and nitric oxide (NO). We extend our sincere gratitude to CETREL S.A. for providing us access to this valuable dataset. Their collaboration has been instrumental in our research efforts, helping us gain insights into air quality and meteorological conditions in Bahia. We greatly appreciate their generous contribution to our work.
