Status of Interprofessional Education among programs directors of radiologic technology programs accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT)

Description

The goals of this data set are to determine the attitudes, beliefs, and perceived importance of IPE curricular implementation among program directors of radiologic technology program accredited by JRCERT. Between-group assessment of program directors in programs that included IPE in the curriculum versus no IPE, diagnostic program versus therapeutic program, in academic center versus no academic center, hospital-based versus no hospital-based, and in public versus private institutions further describe IPE practices and perspectives. In late 2022, an online survey was distributed via email to 702 radiological science program directors of programs accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology directory. The quantitative results were evaluated by crosstabulations and descriptive statistics with thematic analysis for qualitative data.
