Decarbonizing strategies of the retail sector following the Paris Agreement - 27 highest revenue retailers' CSR reports

A qualitative comparison was performed regarding the policy, strategy and energy-related building solutions of the top 27 highest revenue retailers in the world ranked according to their revenue. The data was collected online from sustainability/CSR reports published on retailers’ websites. Sustainability/CSR reports of two reporting periods were analyzed: of Fiscal Years (FY) 2014-2015 and 2016-2017, as to establish differences in corporate policy, strategy and energy-related building solutions before and after the Paris Agreement respectively.
