A total of 246 patients with gastric cancer underwent gastrectomy at Kyoto Chubu Medical Center from January 2012 to December 2018. Of these patients, we excluded 14 who underwent outside distal or total gastrectomy and 35 with noncurative resection. Gastrectomy and lymphadenectomy were carried out in accordance with the standard rules for gastric cancer surgery and pathology of the Japanese Research Society for Gastric Cancer. Clinicopathologic findings were retrospectively evaluated based on medical and pathological records. Data were collected for age, sex, preoperative comorbidity, surgical method, histological diagnosis, and postoperative outcome.
