Description

My Master's Thesis comparing the Aesthetic Theories of the four great photographers, Alfred Stieglitz, Edward Weston, Ansel Adams, and Minor White. My thesis describes the theories of these photographers and points out similarities and differences in their theories. Most published works on these photographers, especially those on Minor White, show their work and biographical information. I wanted to present their aesthetic theories--particularly those pertaining to the making and understanding of their photographs.
