Description

This dataset contains synchronized time-series measurements from a PATU 655 forestry crane operating in a laboratory under planar motion. The crane is actuated using proportional directional control valves. Recorded signals include valve command voltages, hydraulic pressures (cylinder chambers and supply/return), cylinder displacements, boom angles and angular velocities, and five strain-gauge channels on the crane structure. Data were collected using continuous motion, step-type valve excitation, and joystick control. A total of 108 recordings cover multiple payloads (95, 148, 180, 278 kg), hydraulic settings, and crane postures. Data are provided as CSV files (raw) for data-driven stress estimation and modelling.
