This database consists of bibliographic data extracted from sources analyzed within the scope of the authors' research project titled "Russian School of Intelligence Theory". The dataset comprises a rich and diverse collection of publications related to the research subject of intelligence theory and science. Publications not directly relevant to the research topic were excluded. Each entry in the dataset includes the following fields: author information, title of the work, year of preparation, and the institutional affiliation (institution where the work was prepared/published).

Steps to reproduce
The dataset was created through the manual examination of the primary sources listed in the "Description" section. The data collection process involved the following steps: The main texts and footnotes/bibliographies of each of the listed primary sources (journal issues, training materials) were reviewed. The bibliographic details (author, title, year, institution) of other works cited within these sources (including the 22 categories of publications listed in the "Description" section, such as monographs, scientific reports, methodological guides, theses, articles, etc.) were identified. Each identified bibliographic entry was assessed for its relevance to the scope of the research project (Russian intelligence theory and science). Publications not directly relevant to the topic were filtered out. Relevant entries were recorded in the dataset under the fields "author", "title", "year", and "institution". To reproduce or verify the dataset, researchers would need to access the sources specified in the "Description" section and apply the same manual scanning and filtering process to identify citations within them. Primary Data Sources: Issues 2, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 13, 14, 15, 16, 21, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28-29, 30, 31, 36, 37-38, 39, 41-42, 43, 44, 45 of the journal "Труды Высшей Школы" (Trudy Vysshey Shkoly), publicly available in the Lithuanian Special Archives (Lietuvos ypatingasis archyvas). Training materials publicly available in the Lithuanian Special Archives: “Английская Разведка” (British Intelligence), “Разведка Федеративной Республики Германии” (Intelligence of the Federal Republic of Germany), “Разведка США” (US Intelligence), “Литовские, латышские и эстонские буржуазные националисты” (Lithuanian, Latvian and Estonian Bourgeois Nationalists), “Беларусские буржуазные националисты” (Belarusian Bourgeois Nationalists), and “Украинские буржуазные националисты” (Ukrainian Bourgeois Nationalists). 29 lecture materials published by the "For Free Russia Foundation".
