These are the supplementary material of Zulaikha's thesis entitled "Understanding the growth mechanism of L-cystine using three-dimensional Monte-Carlo simulation. It compromises three folders, each of them contains a couple of videos obtained via insitu AFM and CrystalGrower. The first folder explains the mechanism by which the inhibitors hinder the L-cystine crystal growth. The second file explains the influence of stress on both the growth and dissolution process. the third one details the factors affecting the spiral growth of L-cystine.
