Waveforms before and after propagating through an artificial humid filled joint

This data was acquired by electronizing the published data (Wu W, Zhao J (2014) Effect of Water Content on P-Wave Attenuation Across a Rock Fracture Filled with Granular Materials. Rock Mechanics and Rock Engineering 48:867-871). The data is related to the incident wave and transmitted waves through an artificial single joint filled with humid quartz sand. The infill had a thickness of 2 mm and a water content of 15%. The frequency of the incident stress wave was about 2 kHz, and the amplitude was about 120 microstrain. The incident and transmitted waveforms were nomorlized. The first column is the time, the second column is the incident wave, the third column is the transmitted wave.
