Earthquakes NW of Targu Jiu city (Romania) located using JHD technique

Description

Location data was obtained using the Joint Hypocenter Determination (JHD) technique for the earthquakes recorded NW of Targu Jiu city (Gorj region, Romania), approximately between 23.0 and 23.4 longitude E and 45.0 and 45.3 latitude N. The catalogue contains events recorded before the sequence of 2023 (since 10/01/2015) and during the sequence (between 13/02/2023 and 29/10/2023), a total of 4279 events. Compared with version 1 of the catalogue, this version contains the following modifications: 5 additional events, removal of a duplicate event (17/03/2023 14:23:28) and inclusion of the local magnitude parameter. Header description: DATE – event date TIME- event time (UTC) LAT – latitude (N) LON – longitude (E) DEPTH – hypocentre depth (in km) RMS – root mean square value (in s) NS – number of stations used in location GAP - the gap in azimuth coverage (degrees) ML - local magnitude Depth value with index "f" means fixed value (no convergence on depth).
