The mental arithmetic and the Stroop tests are two popular cognitive tasks that can be used as mental stressors. Herein, I offer two new procedures for these tests. It is tried to design stressful procedures which also enable cognitive measuring. A new scale is offered to compare performances in the mental arithmetic test. Furthermore, I developed a computerized version of the Stroop test and introduced a new scale for the between-subject comparison of the performances in this test.
