Survey Data of Students' Community of Inquiry Adjustments

Description

The survey data presented here indicate the students’ learning adjustment in terms of their perceived Community of Inquiry (CoI) adjustments from classroom to online learning environment during the political turmoil in a case Hong Kong higher education institution from November to December 2019 and from online to blended learning environment during the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic from February to May 2020 in the case Hong Kong higher education institution. The survey was conducted from late June 20 to early August 2020 to collect the data of the CoI adjustments (i.e. teaching adjustment, social adjustment and cognitive adjustment) from a convenience sample of 683 students from different majors enrolled in the academic year 2019-2020 at the case Hong Kong higher education institution. 212 students participated in the survey by completing the online questionnaire which is also available here.
