Description

We found that the AB acquires left-right asymmetry via two steps during the pupal stage: The first step is the initial left-right symmetric formation of the AB; The second step is its lateralization by neurite growth in the right AB and neurite remodeling in the left AB. We also found that the lateralization of the AB is dependent on dynamin, and that endocrine (ecdysone) signaling in neurons determines the AB’s left-right polarity. We showed the raw images acquired by confocal microscopy (LSM700 or LSM880 carl zeiss)
