This dataset supports the study on enhancing residential building resilience against extreme weather by integrating phase change materials (PCM) and pre-conditioning strategies. The dataset includes detailed pseudo-codes for simulating grid outages and pre-conditioning strategies in EnergyPlus: • Outage Algorithm: Models energy system behavior during a grid outage, incorporating battery charge status and recovery schedules. • Pre-conditioning Algorithm: Implements pre-conditioning strategies by adjusting setpoints and schedules before an anticipated outage. This dataset can be used to: • Replicate simulation methodologies. • Analyze the impact of resilience strategies on building performance. • Develop and test new resilience measures for residential buildings.
