Data for: Plasma Levels of Trace Elements and Risk of Chronic Kidney Disease in the Elderly (≥90 Years Old) in China

The database were from the Chinese Longitudinal Healthy Longevity Study (CLHLS), which is an ongoing perspective survey conducted in longevity areas in China. The details of this survey have been described in a previous work 18. The data used in this study were obtained from the fifth wave of the CLHLS conducted in 2009 because this wave was the first to conduct detailed health exams and collect biosamples, in addition to interviews, similar to other surveys. A total of 461 elderly people aged ≥90 years from Xiayi County of Henan Province, Sanshui District of Guangdong Province, Zhongxiang City of Hubei Province, Yongfu County of Guangxi Province, and Mayang County of Hunan Province were included in this study.
