Description

We found that CXCL8 expression was significantly increased in a methionine restricted environment due to the upregulation of H3K4 methylation. Mechanistically, the E3 ubiquitin ligase CBL mediated the ubiquitinated degradation of histone demethylase LSD1, reducing LSD1 protein stability and enhancing H3K4me1 modification of the CXCL8 gene.
