Description

This two-year long data set comprises the output of 18 leaf wetness sensors (Meter, Phytos), distributed in two vertical canopy profiles in Caxiuana, an Eastern Amazonian rainforest plot. The sensors were located at heights: 4, 14, 19, 24, 28, 30, 32, 34, and 36 m above ground level, with each height represented by two sensors. Refer to the main article Binks et al. 2020 (Agr.For.Met) for the findings, and the methods article Binks et al. 2020 (MethodsX) for a detailed description of the set-up of the leaf wetness sensors and analysis of the data.
