Data is associated with Oldfield CA, JP Evans, and SC Oldfield. Long-term demography and matrix modeling reveal mechanisms of chestnut oak (Quercus montana) population persistence through sprouting and decline. Forest Ecology & Management. This dataset documents 15 years of chestnut oak (Quercus montana) demography within a 1 ha plot on the Cumberland Plateau (2000-2015). Data includes size class, stem sequence, damage, and number of sprouts associated with each individual.
