Software selection for ease of use and accuracy to measure contact angle of hydrophilic polymeric membranes

Description

In this study, we tested different softwares to calculated the contact angle from the images taken by sessile drop and captive bubble methods. For the purpose, We prepared Cellulose acetate membrane by diffusion induced precipitation. Used our lab developed goniometer by alterations in the compound microscope. Measured the contact angles using different methods and softwares and analyzed the data for most appropriated software for membranes.
