Healthy and Unhealthy Areca Nut Images
Description
Images of raw areca nuts are collected by visiting different areca nut plantations. The healthy and unhealthy areca nuts images are available in the dataset. Different images of areca nuts with various textures and colors (yellow, green, and red) were taken against various backgrounds. The photographs that are collected have not undergone any kind of processing. These images can be used to train machine learning and deep learning models to classify healthy and unhealthy areca nuts. Further the images are preprocessed to decrease the various background and noise and are segmented for better classification accuracy. The repository contains images of raw areca nuts with husk unlike other repositories that contains boiled and processed areca nuts without husk. This enables a better training of the classification system.
