Description

In this experiment, we investigated the role of AQP4 and AQP10 in the low salt stress of razor clams. Firstly, the spatio-temporal pattern of AQPs distribution was obtained by measuring the expression of AQPs in various tissues of razor clam and gill tissues under low salt stress. Subsequently, dsRNA interference was used to knock down AQPs, and the heart rate, survival, and apoptosis rate of razor clams were measured to verify the role played by AQPs in osmoregulation of razor clams.
