This double-blind placebo-controlled trial assessed whether metformin prolonged pregnancy in women with preterm pre-eclampsia. 180 women were randomised to metformin or placebo. The trial protocol, information leaflet, consent form, published protocol, the full protocol, the statistical analysis plan, the data dictionary and the final trial registration documents can be found here.
