A dataset of psychophysiological analysis in middle-aged adults during the COVID-19 pandemic

Description

Using fundamental demographic questions, demographic data were collected, and psychophysiological condition was assessed using validated self-report questionnaires. The Pittsburgh sleep quality index (PSQI), the Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale (HADS), the Epworth Sleepiness Scale (ESS), the General Sleep Disturbance Scale (GSDS), the Green Climacteric Scale (GCS), and the Constitution in Chinese Medicine Questionnaire (CCMQ) were used to assess sleep quality. It was possible to record signals for systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure, heart rate, low frequency, high frequency, irregular heartbeats, and heart rate variability.

Steps to reproduce

In the period between January and December of 2022, participants were recruited at a health care center. Participants were considered eligible if they selected subjects who met the specified requirements.
