This Excel spreadsheet presents the dataset used to prepare the manuscript, "Perennial rice regrowth responds to stubble characteristics, temperature and genotype", which has been submitted to Field Crops Research. The experiment was conducted at Menghai in Yunnan Province of China from 2020 to 2022, comprising 3 Environments (E), 4 Genotypes (G), 5 Samples (S) and 3 Replicates (Rep), for N = 180 cases. There were 20 parameters recorded: E, G, S, Rep; Exposure to Cold (C); Grain yield (t/ha); 12 Growth Parameters (root, leaf, stem and total components of Dry Matter (DM g/pl), [Soluble sugar] (ug/g), and [Starch] (ug/g); and Shoot number (SN/pl) and the Natural log of shoot number (lnSN). Further details are provided in the manuscript.
