Description

We provide a SnapGene file containing fully annotated Gallus gallus FET-1 sequence. We performed RT-PCR on various embryonic tissues and sequenced the fragments obtained. These sequences are aligned to the FET-1. Sequences fFET1_M13 and mFET1_M13 were obtained by RT-PCR on dissected gonadal tissue from HH16-27 Rhode Island Red female and male embryos respectively. Sequences FG.1/2/3/4/5/6 were amplified from female gonadal mRNA isolated from 6 individual HH29-30 White Leghorn embryos. Sequences FM.2/3/4/5/6 were amplified from the pectoral muscle dissected from the same HH29-30 female embryos. Sequences MG.2/3/6 were amplified from male gonadal mRNA isolated from three individual HH29-30 White Leghorn embryos. Sequences MM.1/2/3/4/5/6 were amplified from the pectoral muscle dissected from six HH29-30 male White Leghorn embryos.
