Dataset on Eclipse Bug Records on Bugzilla

Description

This data article describes the dataset curated from Eclipse's bug records, one of the most popular large-scale open-source projects. This dataset has 26 variables describing 559,394 bug records from 2002 to the 29th of July 2022. (The data is under license of EPL2.0. More details for licensing can be found in Software User Agreement (https://www.eclipse.org/legal/epl/notice.php)

Steps to reproduce

Download all data from bugzilla web page of eclipse. (https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/) Develop a script to download bug records with bugids starting from 1 to 600,000 in XML format. Parse all downloaded XML files and extract attributes.
