Detrital zircon U-Pb data from the Weixinan Sag, Beibuwan Basin and the Nanliu River with associated heavy mineral data of the Beibuwan Basin. These data have been used for investigating the history of Eocene-Oligocene provenance in the Beibuwan Basin of the northwestern South China Sea.
