Description

Code and datasets associated with the manuscript 'The Acadian Flycatcher is a habitat specialist, and it shows'. This manuscript assesses potential threats to the habitat preferences of the Acadian Flycatcher, a songbird endangered in Ontario. This project is broken into two parts: assessing co-occurrence with preferred and antagonistic species and assessing habitat composition surrounding observations. The observations for this project are sourced from community science (aka citizen science) platforms: eBird, iNaturalist, and EDDMapS. Land cover information was sourced from the North American Land Change Monitoring System (NALCMS) public dataset.
