Description

Through a thorough systematic literature review encompassing studies since 2007, various sources such as journal papers, book chapters, and research findings were analyzed. The selected literature was evaluated based on relevant keywords, culminating in a comprehensive overview. The findings indicate that mindfulness presents an effective approach for addressing tobacco addiction and nicotine dependence. Emphasizing mindfulness training can foster sustainable recovery from these addictions. Moreover, tobacco smoking not only causes environmental pollution but also affects the health of individuals exposed to secondhand smoke. Integrating mindfulness into educational curricula holds promise as a potent strategy to reduce tobacco addiction prevalence, thereby benefiting both public health and environmental well-being.
