Description

The data and R script associated with the paper "A Hard Day’s Night: Patterns in diurnal and nocturnal foraging behaviour of Apis dorsata across lunar cycles and seasons" can be found here. In this study, we observed the diurnal and nocturnal activity of the giant honey bee A. dorsata across an 8 month period to systematically investigate their foraging behaviour across lunar cycles and seasons. Included are: the R script used for statistical analysis, the full activity dataset used for analysis, and a dataset containing only data collected over the lunar cycles of interest to allow for easier graphing of activity in each moon phase.
