Description
This project analyzes football transfers, especially the flows from South America to Europe and then to elite European clubs. Data is stored and processed in a graph database, where players, clubs, countries, and transfers are represented as connected entities. The dataset is organized into four CSV files: players.csv → contains information about players, such as their id, name, birth date, and nationality. clubs.csv → contains information about clubs, including id, name, country, and league. countries.csv → contains the list of countries, with id, name, and continent. transfers.csv → contains the transfer events, linking players and clubs. Each record includes an id, the player involved, origin club, destination club, season, fee in euros, and whether it was a loan. These files together describe the transfer network. Players are linked to transfers, transfers connect origin and destination clubs, and clubs belong to countries.
