Description

The soil used for the experiment in Grobogan has a clay texture (80%) and is slightly alkaline. The extracted P and K nutrients from 25% HCl are relatively high. Ca dominates the basic cations, while Mg, K, and Na are low. The soil has a Ca nutrient saturation of 95%, while the Mg and K nutrients are 4.20% and 0.46%, respectively. The soil has a high CEC and very high base saturation. In Pandeglang, the soil has a clay texture and is slightly acidic, close to neutral (pH 6.40). The soil extracted from 25% HCl has high P and K nutrient content, as well as high available P content. However, the organic C and total N content are low. The cation content in the soil is quite high in Mg (34.1%) and low in K (1.19%), while the nutrient Ca is close to ideal (63.2%). Soil CEC is high and base saturation is very high. The soil has a clay texture and is acidic (pH 4.62). The soil has low levels of organic carbon and total nitrogen, but high levels of potential and available phosphorus nutrients. However, potential and exchangeable potassium is low. Additionally, the soil has low cation exchange capacity (CEC) and base saturation.
