Description

Dataset for a social learning experiment carried out on a group of captive bonobos (Pan paniscus) includes data for: 1. Demonstrator performance - Demonstrator performance during Preference Demonstration phase - number of matched 1st choices and number of times only the matched colour was eaten. 2. Attention to demonstrators - Percentage of preference demonstration trials performed by KEL and DW observed by each subject (i.e. attention to demonstrators). 3. First choice - Number of correct and incorrect choices made by each of the seven subjects for the first choice of each experimental block. (Fig. 3) 4. Overall choice performance - Number of matched and unmatched choices made by each of the seven subjects overall. (Table 3) 5. Age & trials observed - Identity, age and proportion of trials observed and matched choices made by each of the seven subjects. ( Fig. 5 and Fig. 6)
