Description

It is a research paper to explore the environmental features at the neighborhood level which support or thwart social distancing and lockdown in the neighborhoods of Iran based on the perspective of the general population. We surveyed the general population’s perspectives because they permanently interact with their living environment and are aware of the environmental challenges that arose in combating Covid-19. Our results were categorized into three themes: 1-Protective Factors, 2-Deficiency Factors, and 3-Risk Factors. Consequently, we proposed some suggestions to get achieve pandemic-responsive neighborhoods. This manuscript addressed not only the Covid-19 challenges but also any airborne epidemics that outbreak in recent decades.
