Description

This data for 44 patients with acute coronary syndrome. The ACS patients were divided into two groups according to ST segment deviation: the first group included 23 ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) and the second group included 21 non ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (NSTEMI). data collected included the baseline characteristics during admission . Arterial blood samples were taken from the aortic root through the guiding catheter, and from the culprit vessel segment with aspiration catheter, distally from the primary lesion during PCI. The serum was obtained through centrifugation (3000 rpm, 10 minutes) and stored at −80°C until further examination. Serum m-Tyr, o-Tyr, p-Tyr and Phe levels were determined using RP-HPLC.
