This dataset was compiled from various experimental results of rectangular concrete-filled steel tube columns (RCFST). It is applicable in the prediction of compressive strength of such columns using seven input variables, which included depth of column (H), width of column (B), thickness of steel tube (t), length of column (L), yield stress of steel (fy), and compressive strength of concrete (f'c) and loading eccentricity (et). In the database, the length of column is up to 4500 mm, while the maximum value of column height is 360 mm. In terms of material properties, the compressive strength of concrete varies in the range of 10 to 183 MPa and the yield stress of streel ranges from 194 MPa to 835 MPa.
