Description

This data repository contains data from greenhouse and tomato growth monitoring from Proefcentrum Hoogstraaten (Voort 71, 2328 Hoogstraten, Belgium) collected during GROW! project (Interreg Vl-Nl, https://www.grensregio.eu/projecten/grow). The repository consists of: • environmental measurements (T&RH folder): temperature, relative humidity; • tomato measurements (PlantData folder): truss weight, truss number, firmness, color, soluble solids content, ethylene emission rate, stem length, stem diameter. Each folder contains table Info explaining recorded variables.

Steps to reproduce

Data were collected in years 2018 - 2020 from greenhouse tomato production with conditions set according to commercial tomato production standards. T and RH data were measured by central weather station (Electronic Measuring Box, Priva, De Lier, The Netherlands) just above the crop canopy in the middle of each compartment and T and RH sensors (SHT31 Smart Gadget, Sensirion, Stäfa, Switzerland). Truss number, stem length and stem diameter were measured weekly (unless specified differently) on plants by non-destructive measurements. Truss weight, firmness, color, soluble solids content and ethylene emission rate were measured at specified time points on trusses (and eventually separate fruits) harvested from the plant.
