Description

There are two main hypotheses. The first one is to answer the phase of intrusions in Ertsberg Intrusion Complex and the second is to identify the petrogenesis and tectonic setting of the Ertsberg Intrusion Complex. Geochemical data (XRF,ICP_MS) showed that there are two phases of intrusion and high-k calc-alkaline to shoshonitic magmas were enriched by sedimentary components in post-collision setting. In the research paper, sample identifying was done detail for each sample in the megascopic study to understand the crosscutting relationship of the rocks. Moreover, the important one is to collect and identify the fresh samples. For the geochemistry study, major elements were used to identify the processes of magma using Harker variation diagram, SiO2 vs K2O diagram, and trace elements were used to identify the petrogenesis of magma and tectonic setting using Ta/Yb versus Ce/Yb diagram, [Y+Nb] vs Rb geotectonic discrimination diagram, Ce/P2O5-3*Zr-50Nb ternary diagram, and spider diagram. Furthermore, combining the trace elements and REE elements were used to identify the genetic magma and possible tectonic setting using CI Chondrite-normalized REE diagram and LILE vs HFSE diagram.

Steps to reproduce

There are three categories. 1) Sample Description, 2) XRF, 3) ICP_MS. The sample locations were shown in the sample description. Putting the mark (*) indicated the omitting in the paper due to high water content. Further research, we can use the elements to compare with another intrusion.
