Description

A total of 886 Chinese hotel employees completed a self-administered questionnaire examining organisational support, supervisor support, co-worker support, work-life balance, job satisfaction, and two forms of safety behaviours including safety compliance and safety participation. Results showed that work-life balance mediated the effects of organisational support, supervisor support, and co-worker support on job satisfaction. Job satisfaction also mediated the effects of work-life balance on safety compliance and safety participation. Furthermore, chain mediating effects of work-life balance and job satisfaction in the relationships between work support and both forms of safety behaviours were demonstrated.
