Description

Devanathan-Stachurski permeation tests were carried out on a grade 1300 Martensitic Advanced High Strength Steel (MS-AHSS) to obtain the effective diffusivity coefficient. Financed by the European Union - NextGenerationEU (National Sustainable Mobility Center CN00000023, Italian Ministry of University and Research Decree n. 1033 - 17/06/2022, Spoke 11 - Innovative Materials & Lightweighting). Steps to reproduce

Square specimens (50x50x1.2 mm) were cleaned and coated with a thin Pd layer on the anodic face. The cell was filled with NaOH 0.1 M solution. The cathodic current was varied from 0.5 to 10 mA/cm² through a series of increasing and decreasing ramps. The tests were performed with the cells submerged in a thermostatic bath. The measured temperature is reported in the data file.
