Supplementary data – Self-Compassion and Anxiety in Psychology Internship
Description
This dataset contains the anonymized raw data and statistical analysis file related to the article “Self-Compassion as a Protective Factor Against Anxiety in Academic Internship Experiences in Psychology”. The research aimed to investigate the relationship between anxiety (measured by the Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale – HAM-A) and self-compassion (measured by the Self-Compassion Scale) in Brazilian psychology students during their internship period. The dataset includes: - DadosBrutos_AnsiedadeAutocompaixao.csv – A raw data file with sociodemographic, anxiety, and self-compassion responses from 223 participants. - DadosBrutos_AnsiedadeAutocompaixao.jasp – A JASP file with the statistical procedures used, including descriptive analyses, one-way ANOVA, bootstrapping, and Spearman correlation. The study was conducted in line with ethical guidelines and all data were anonymized prior to publication.

Steps to reproduce
Participants answered a sociodemographic questionnaire, the Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HAM-A), and the Self-Compassion Scale. Data were analyzed using JASP software, including descriptive statistics, one-way ANOVA with bootstrapping, and Spearman correlation. Details are available in the accompanying manuscript.
