Description

Log data alone give only a partial view of the usage of the system and the behaviour of the user. The logs generated from the security software installed on server. They are also known as ACL, Access Control Lists. The data is heterogeneous in nature. The analysis has been performed on such data. The data would be collected from the server. The server is connected to the clients. At a time many clients try to surf the internet , the security software indirectly keeps the watch, which all sites have been visited, what time and by whom. The Security Software is executed on server which collects below information. The details of users, who are working in LAN, b. How many number of machines are connected, c. URLs accessed by the users, d. How many times a user has accessed a specific website.
