Description

\Data type and description: event-time stamp data. The time at which each event occurred (values 1-3) was stamped with a 10 ms resolution. 1=lever pressed (Lever DOWN tab); 2=lever released (Lever UP tab); 3=delivered pellet (Pellet delivered tab). Data were obtained through MED STATE NOTATION (MED Associates). NOTE: this exercise requires the lever inputs to be flipped to “level” position (up) in the controlers (LEVEL/TOGGLE section).

Steps to reproduce

\Experiment summary: 7 Aged (A1-7; 20-22 months old) and 8 Young (Y1-8; 2-3 months old) mice (C57-Bl6) were submitted to instrumental training (increasing pseudorandom lever hold interval). CRF or LH0: constant reinforcement (Days 1-3, data not shown in this dataset); LH0.3: average lever hold 0.3 sec (Days 4-6); LH0.8: average lever hold 0.8 sec (Days 7-9); LH2: average lever hold 2 sec (Days 10-12); LH3.2: average lever hold 3.2 sec (Days 13-15); LH5: average lever hold 5 sec (Days 16-17). Active lever counterbalanced (Left [L] or Right [R]).
