Description

• This data represents both anthropometric measurements and morphological classifications which may be used for examination of the body or gait in forensic contexts. Features can be extracted on a case-by-case basis. • Researchers may use this data as a building point to apply various statistical techniques and modelling tools can be applied to assign likelihood ratios, view correlations and see any relationship or trends within the dataset. • The rarity of the aforementioned features, once extracted, can be viewed in the population to see which features are rare and not rare. Different combinations of features can be trialled, where repeatability and reproducibility rates of observers can be examined.

The data is presented in both Excel spreadsheets and a Word documents to display definitions, values of the extracted features, showing their rarity within the given population. The data displays the demographic of the recruited subjects as presented in Table 1, followed by all the definitions for anthropometric and morphological features. The single observer repeatability studies are also presented here and can be used as part of reproducibility studies where the results of multiple users can be compared. The anthropometric measurements and morphological classifications observed in the Excel spreadsheets contain a feature and its variant per column, are provided to allow various combinations of features; allowing simulation for different case-by-case scenarios. Finally, the rarity for each features within the given population is highlighted to display which features were more rare and which features more common.
