CRISM observations of the North polar troughs on Mars
Description
Dr. Khayat et al., conducted the first high-resolution water vapor retrievals from MRO/CRISM over polar trough in the north polar layered deposits (NPLD) of Mars during Mars year . The team reported the observational evidence of the sudden increase in the water vapor abundance over polar trough on Mars after conducting CRISM retrievals of the total column abundance over surface ice. The data here are presented in Figures 2, 3 and 4 in the manuscript "CRISM observations of the North polar troughs on Mars" by Alain SJ. Khayat, Michael D. Smith and Scott D. Guzewich, submitted to the journal Geophysical Research Letters. The files "CRISM_HRL0000B0F5_H2O.dat", "CRISM_HRL0000B399_H2O.dat" and "CRISM_HRL0000BEBE_H2O.dat" are tables of water vapor column abundances as retrieved from CRISM observations over north polar troughs (indicated by HRL) on Mars. At the very beginning of each file, a detailed explanation on the listed quantities is presented.
