Description

This data set encompasses isotopic data from precipitation collected on monthly basis in Rio Claro site (2013-2018), as well as groundwater isotopic data collected in an unconfined aquifer (Rio Claro aquifer) from 2013 to 2017. Isotopic compositions were reported as ‰ relative to Vienna Standard Mean Ocean Water (VSMOW), was conducted using a water isotope analyzer (Los Gatos Research Inc., USA) at the Hydrogeology and Hydrochemistry Laboratory of the Department of Applied Geology of IGCE/UNESP. The secondary standards were: USGS-45 (δ2H = −10.3‰, δ18O = −2.24‰), USGS-46 (δ2H = −236.0‰, δ18O = −29.80‰), and river water (Cachoeira de Emas-CE) (δ2H = −36.1‰, δ18O = −5,36‰). USGS standards were used to normalize the results to the VSMOW2-SLAP2 scale, while CE was used as a quality control and drift control standard. The analytical precision was: ± 1.2 ‰ (1σ) for δ2H and ± 0.2 ‰ (1σ) for δ18O.
