Dataset Content Creation as a Catalyst for MSME Growth; Leveraging High-Quality Content to Achieve Sustainable Business

This dataset is the result of an in-depth interview analysis with 20 owners or managers of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia regarding the role of content creation in their business growth. This study aims to understand how MSMEs utilize content creation as a strategy to achieve sustainable business growth. The dataset consists of six main sections: Key Informant Profile: Provides an overview of the distribution of informants based on industry sector and business size. Interview Guide: Presents key questions used in the interview, linked to the problem formulation and target information to be obtained. Understanding Content Creation: Analyzes the level of understanding, perception, and implementation of content creation strategies among MSMEs. Factors Influencing Content Creation Effectiveness: Explores perceptions of benefits, challenges, and resource readiness in content creation. Impact of Content Creation on Business Growth: Assesses the influence of content creation on business growth and methods for measuring content effectiveness. Effective Content Creation Strategy: Identifying the types of content considered most effective, the process of planning and executing content strategies, and future development plans. Each section is presented in a table format that includes interview questions, open coding results, axial coding, and selective coding. This dataset provides in-depth insights into how MSMEs in Indonesia understand, implement, and plan content creation strategies to drive their business growth. This dataset can be used by researchers, business practitioners, and policy makers to further understand the role of content creation in the context of MSMEs in Indonesia, as well as to develop strategies and policies that support MSME growth through effective content utilization.
