Data Description: This dataset contains the raw data from a cross-sectional study investigating the prevalence of Low Bone Mineral Density (BMD) among women living with HIV and its associated risk factors. Dataset Overview: The Excel file includes several key parameters: Demographics: Age, Body Mass Index (BMI), and menopausal status. HIV Clinical Profile: Duration of HIV infection, type of Antiretroviral Therapy (ART) regimens, and viral load levels. Bone Density Measurements: T-scores and Z-scores obtained from Dual-energy X-ray Absorptiometry (DXA) scans of the lumbar spine and femoral neck. Lifestyle & Other Factors: Smoking status, physical activity levels, and history of fractures. Usage: The data is intended for researchers performing meta-analyses or comparative studies regarding bone health in the context of HIV.
