Description

A set of program code for the article Pashin A.V., Kryukov Yu.A., Mikheeva G.V., Kudinov I.V., Pimenov A.A. "Investigation of the local non-equilibrium process of inductive heating of metal in a hydrogen generation reactor". A method for identifying the source of heat that occurs in the skin-layer of a hydrogen generation reactor filled with liquid metal during its induction heating is proposed. Thanks to the use of the proposed method, it is possible, with a known thickness of the skin layer, to find the power of the heat source arising in it, at which methane is heated to a given pyrolysis temperature. The method is based on the use of the heat balance equation and a local non-equilibrium mathematical model, which makes it possible to take into account the relaxation properties of materials. As a result of multivariate numerical calculations, the power of the internal heat source was determined, which is necessary for the working medium of the reactor (liquid metal) to reach the pyrolysis temperature. The developed program allows you to simulate the process of induction heating of metal in a hydrogen generation reactor.
