Description

The following information is available in the database: 1) demographic, including city and region of residence, number of people per household, age, gender, race and color; 2) educational, including own and parents' education, type of school attended (public or private); 3) economic, in particular family income; 4) digital behavior, including preferred device for accessing the main internet, time online, applications used (social networks, games, instant messaging and dating sites), and access control and monitoring; and 6) risks of violence on the internet, applications that occur online interaction with strangers, feeling of insecurity online (day, afternoon, night, early morning or all the time), and information about contacts with strangers on the internet. The data complies with the General Law on the Protection of Personal Data (LGPD) Law No. 13,709/2018. Informed consent was obtained from the participants and the participants' data was fully anonymized.

Steps to reproduce

The data were collected in the following manner. First, the questionnaire was structured with relevant questions. Then, the online form with the questionnaire was published without access restrictions. Third, the questionnaire was distributed among elementary and high schools. Finally, the collected data were organized and structured.
